The Youth Department is one of the Church departments that are part of the Kijitonyama Pentecost Church. The church established this Department for the purpose of integrating and nurtures the Youth to the benefit of the Church.

For the existence of this Department the Church and members of this department receive the following benefits:

1. Youth Department is part of raising youth from adolescence to adulthood.
2. This Department helps Church Leadership to address the needs and problems of Youth in the Church
3. The Department puts youth together in the Church
4. Through this Department Youth participates in prayer, seminars and various teachings
5. This Department builds up youth spiritual services and helps develop their talents
6. Through the Department Youths can help each other during difficult times and encourage one another.

The Youth Department’s structure in KPC

The structure of the Youth Department in KPC begins at the Branch, Parish and Mission levels. The following flow shows the structure of the Youth Department in the Church.

The Departmental Youth Activities within the Branch focus on the daily planning and practice of the Branch where youths are raised in teaching and promotion of their gifts. For Parish, young people do important things planned to be done on a regular basis or particular day. At the Mission level, Praise and Worship services, Church Youth prayers, Seminars and Youth Camps are organized and done.

Leadership

The leadership consists of the following; Chairman, Assistant Chairman, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Accountant and Treasurer. Also, the Department has a Youth Choir Teacher where this service is available.
