The Kanisa la Pentekoste Kijitonyama (KLPK) in Swahili or Kijitonyama Pentecost Church is a local church, within “The Pentecost Churches Union in Tanzania”with acronym PCUT. The Kijitonyama Pentecost Church, registered its trusties in the name of “The Registered Trustees of Kijitonyama Pentecost Church” on 15/11/1982, and then the Church was officially registered on 26/9/1983 to the Registrar of voluntary parties in the Office of Ministry of Home Affairs.
The purpose of the KLPK is to preach the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ the Son of the Most High God, within and outside Tanzania according to the Bible; To maintain Pentecost faith and to defend it so that it does not have a mixture of false beliefs; Provide, social services in partnership with the Government, based on God’s commission. To Develop economic projects that will assist the church to carry out its duties and activities of spreading the gospel. KLPK through its governing bodies maintains the solidarity of the Pentecost Churches Union in Tanzania (PCUT) according to the Bible. The Church has registered its name with its leaders to the registrar of non-governmental organizations in accordance with the law; The church has the right to own land legally after receiving the approval of the Guarantee Supreme Guarantee; The church has the right to have its assets under its trusties and to continue to seek and acquire more property to assist its activities in accordance to the Law. Since KLPK is among the churches within PCUT it has the right to have joint assets with other churches, under PCUT’s trusties; the Church have the same beliefs as other churches in PCUT, and according to a large percentage of the PCUT constitutional elements.

Preaching the gospel by focusing on the principles of the Bible, establishing development projects and providing social services based on the need of members and the community as a whole.
OUR BELIEFS
(i) KLPK believes that the Bible is God’s word and is divinely inspired and infallible (Jer. 30:1- 2; 2 Pet.1:20 – 21; 2 Tim 3:16-17).
(ii) The church believes that there is only one true living God. (Deut. 6:4,5; Mark 12:29), We also believe that God exist in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19-20).
(iii) That Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, born of the power of the Holy Spirit, and Jesus is God. (Matt.1:20- 21; 3:17; John 1:1-3; Luke 1:35).
(iv) That any human beings have sinned and come short of the glory of God; (Rom 3:23
(v) That salvation of any human being is available through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (John 3:16; Luke 19:10; Acts. 4:12; Rom. 6:23; Rom. 10:9-10).
(vi) That he who obeys Jesus Christ and is baptized will be saved. (Mark 16:15; John. 3:23).
(vii) The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a promise to all who have received Jesus Christ as their Savior. (John 7:37-39; 14:15-17; Acts 1:4-5).
(viii) That whoever received Jesus Christ as personal savior has spiritual services and gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Church. (1Cor 12:3-7)
(ix) That one who believes in Jesus Christ as His Savior becomes holy through sanctification. (John 17:17- 19; 1 Thess. 5:23).
(x) That Jesus Christ died on the Cross; was buried, and on the third day he rose again and ascended to Heaven to God the Father. (Matt 27:45-50; Matt. 28:1-8; Mark 16:19). His death for us on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father, and His personal return in power and glory
(xi) That Jesus Christ will return to take His Church, and then He will return again to reign over a thousand years on earth. (John. 14:3; 1 Thess. 4:16- 17; Rev. 20:1-10).
(xii) That there will be a judgment and an end to the entire world (Mark. 9:43-48; Heb. 9:27).
(xiii) That there will be a last era; there will be a new heavens and a new earth. (Rev. 21; 1- 2; Isa. 65:17).
(xiv) That legitimate marriages are between only one husband and wife. (Gen. 2:18-24; Matt. 19:4-6).
(xv) That the Church leaders are by means of independent local churches, governed independently. (Rev. 1:4; 2:1, 8, 12, 18; 3:1, 7, 14).
(xvi) That God appreciates the inner adornment of person than the outer person. (Matt 7:15-21; 1Cor. 11:3; Eph. 5:22-24; 1 Tim. 2:10).
(xvii) That a woman is not allowed to be the head of the Church (Pastor). (Eph 5:22; Gen 3:16).
(xviii) That the Government has powers that have been installed by God to rule on Earth (Luke 13:1-3; 1Pet.2:13-17).
